The quality and acceptance of a management system are determined by how up-to-date the processes are and how user-friendly they are.

In IMS PREMIUM, processes can be dynamically modeled and versioned in any Internet browser. Compared to static process management tools, this method offers the clear advantage of always being able to keep processes up to date without having to start modeling from scratch or having to manage your own versions with an external drawing tool.

The processes can be structured into any number of process phases. Sub-processes can be nested multiple times. The user not only sees the list of substructures, but also recognizes the dependencies. The process network can thus be built up step by step. This also takes account of the company's development: if a new sub-process is added, this addition can simply be made with a new version and released for all locations. The integration of new locations is also just a click away.

Additional information can be assigned to each process phase or activity: Process input and output for the process network, process owners, standards, laws, specifications, targets and key figures, risks, documents, content and functions from other systems or freely definable information - the possibilities are endless. Active links to other (module) content in IMS PREMIUM are particularly helpful (e.g. responsibilities by means of positions or persons from the organization chart), as they can be called up at the click of a mouse and are always kept up to date thanks to dynamic data management. This makes it easier to follow workflows in everyday working life, as the process can keep pace with the user's requirements.

Processes are linked and clearly displayed within the process map. The classification enables a visual grouping of related processes (e.g. core processes). Several process maps can be managed and made available to specific user groups (e.g. location-based).

If there is a desire to go beyond the design options of the standard process map, graphical process maps can be integrated.

Processes, maps and activity lists are displayed according to requirements. The layout design options range from simple process representation to standardized BPMN representation and special representations (horizontal or vertical).
All process content can be managed in multiple languages. The user can set their preferred language or change it manually in the process as required.

IMS PREMIUM combines several perspectives in the same process. Different layouts can have different content and display formats, resulting in very flexible and user-friendly information preparation. This makes it much easier to create and use processes across departments, as each user only sees the information that is relevant to them.

Corporate design elements can also be integrated on request. If several display variants have been defined, it is possible to switch from one view to another at the click of a mouse.

The Processes Group option is particularly suitable for companies that want to map holding structures or multiple locations with local requirements. Uniform, common processes can be defined centrally as standard processes and can be used everywhere. Individual content is added at the desired locations and continuously inherited into the processes. This guarantees that the processes are up to date, regardless of whether the standard process is adapted or a local, supplemented version is changed. It has never been easier to set up a group-wide management system!

All created processes are listed in the process library with the corresponding usage in a comprehensible manner. Multiple use of processes is easily possible. You can decide whether the process should be integrated as a link, as a copy or as a derived version. This offers the advantage for the expansion or maintenance of the system that existing information can continue to be used and, depending on the type of integration, there is no need to ensure that it is up to date.

The creation and versioning of processes is made possible by customizable workflows. The predefined workflows control the checking and approval of new process content and inform responsible persons and departments of status changes or work steps to be completed. The user is guided safely through their tasks by a workflow wizard. Each completed workflow step is fully documented. All process versions created are saved in the history so that it is always possible to trace who has worked with which information and when.

All created versions of a process are saved in the history. IMS PREMIUM offers a powerful change visualization with the help of a graphical comparison of two freely selectable versions. New and changed content of the two versions is highlighted in color. Detailed information on changed text passages can be displayed using the mouse pointer.
The visualization takes into account text and image content, documents, document groups and links. Deleted objects are also listed.

IMS PREMIUM Processes can be excellently combined with the Documents, Organization, Key Figures, Process Execution or Risk modules. This means that jobs, risks or improvement measures can be dynamically managed and displayed in the processes.
