Integrated management as a basis
Since 2006, IMS PREMIUM has been the integrated management system for Meyer Burger AG, the foundation for the consistent alignment of company processes with customer requirements. The management system based on web technology is available to all employees and managers as a knowledge platform. The modules used are Processes, Organization, Continuous Improvement, Key Figures and Risks.


IMS PREMIUM as a group solution
The IMS PREMIUM implementation was started in one company (Meyer Burger AG). The focus was on processes, organization, environmental management and occupational health and safety and formed the basis for certification according to ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001. In phase 2, the modules Continuous Improvement, Key Figures and Risks were implemented in quick succession.

As a result of acquisitions and the founding of companies, IMS PREMIUM was further expanded as a group solution in phase 3. At the same time, process harmonization for the management and support processes was sought:

The implementation and use of IMS PREMIUM in the group of companies is efficiently supported by specific functionalities such as multilingualism including the entire content, document management and a selective authorization concept. A highlight of the integration was the complete merging of the independent IMS PREMIUM solution from 3S Swiss Solar Systems AG, following its merger with Meyer Burger Technology AG.


Connection to surrounding systems
The Meyer Burger Group uses various other software solutions in the IMS PREMIUM environment. During implementation, appropriate connections were made based on the IMS PREMIUM connectors, in some cases even up to the point of complete connection:
